Q
Who is my point of contact?
A
When you first contact us, you will work directly with one of our estimators to help decide the best course of action for you. Once you’ve chosen how you’d like to move forward we will assign one of our friendly team members to guide you through the entire process, help keep you up to date, and answer all your questions along the way.
Q
Why doesn’t my insurance pay you directly?
A
For mitigation, your insurance will pay us directly. However, for your rebuild they send the money to you because ultimately you get to choose who you hire and it is your responsibility to see that they get paid. If you would like your insurance company to pay us directly, you can sign a direction to pay form, letting your insurance company know you would like payments to go directly to the restoration company of your choice. Even then your insurance company may still opt to send a 3-party check that you will be required to sign or they may even still send the payments directly to you.
Q
Do I have to use the restoration company that was referred by my insurance?
A
Simply put, no. It is your choice which restoration company you use. Your insurance company may give you suggestions and you might feel like what they say is your only choice, but in the end, you get to choose who you are most comfortable with to restore your home.
Q
Can you bill my insurance company directly?
A
We sure can! We work with all adjusters and insurance providers. We’ll make sure you get a copy of your approved estimate so you know exactly what work is included under your insurance claim. Once work is complete, your insurance will have us send them a certificate of completion signed by you, then final payment will be issued.
Q
I’ve never done this before, what should I do?
A
We have laid out each step for you here.
